About Us
Team Pronto 3070 is a high school robotics team based in Shoreline, Washington. We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition, in which teams build a robot to compete in a game that changes every year. Our team is based at Shorewood High School and made up of students from Shorecrest and Shorewood, as well as homeschool and private school students in the Shoreline area. About FIRST
We compete in FIRST Robotics Competition, part of the FIRST organization: For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. With a mission of fostering skills in engineering, math, and science while also promoting themes of cooperation, professionalism, and leadership, FIRST hosts robotics competitions for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. FIRST has reached over 3.2 million youth participants since 1989.
Support Us
Our team is funded largely by sponsorships and donations from family and friends. These donations allow us to continue providing learning opportunities for our team members, as well as spreading the love of science and technology in our community through outreach events. Our donations go through Shoreline Robotics Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Team Pronto, as well as the Shorecrest TSA and VEX teams.
